I'll be the first to admit that shopping at Whole Foods isn't easy on the wallet, but my wife and I can easily live on 300 bucks a month, not too big a challenge really. (As long as you don't buy one organic heirloom tomato which cost us 8 dollars and didn't even taste that great). Grab some veggies, make lots of stirfrys, throw in some tofu, yummy bread, rice, pasta, legumes, all these are inexpensive, delicious, and healthy.
